The thing about skinny jeans,mini skirts and haltered tops!
As the world revolves also our fashion statements, we made a huge turn from 1800's where the only thing visible is a women's face and her feet, now that we are in the 20th century the only covered are the private parts....And we call this fashion some would say "panahon pa ni lolo at lola yun" or we live in a democratic country "walang paki-alamanan". I also agree with our freedom to wear what we want to wear. The only problem is that we are so wrap-up in our outside appearance, we are forgetting what matters the most our true self, not the body that will decay but your inner being.
Another reality that fashion today brings us is that we are not aware of the many people especially guys who are being stumbled and tempted because of the clothes we wear. As the famous qoute says "Women who claim to love God should do helpful things for others,one way is by wearing modest and sensible clothes".
So the next time you shop for clothes think about other people not just you.
Don't depend on things like fancy hairdos or gold jewelry or expensive clothes to make you look beautiful. Be beautiful in your heart by being gentle and quiet. This kind of beauty will last and God considers it very special.
