1_345199628l_1.jpgTrue Love Waits is not only for those who are singles or members of NBSB and NGSB. It is also for individuals committed in a boy/girlfriend relationship who are both pursuing a life of purity in their lives, just like me.

It's a great joy that God allowed me to be with someone whom I see as His precious gift. Nowadays, most young people are in a craze to get into a b/gf relationships simply because its the fad. Not knowing that it doesn't only go with the attraction towards the other but building a commitment that will last. This is what many are missing!

God has changed my view towards relationship.  "Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God-this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is-his goo, pleasing and perfect will."

Commitment is to pledge yourself to a certain purpose. It also means practicing your views consistently. Some skip this kapag nasa relationship na kasi at times hassle, not yet ready, so to dismiss commitment becomes more problematic. It gives false hope and wrong perspective where relationship should take place.

I've learned that commitment is built in Christ who gives the desire to pursue purity in Him. Recently, Pauline and I made a covenant to God to keep ourselves pure inside-out until we get married and to be crazy in love with Him. We believe it is His purest intention for us and to those who are currently in a relationship. We are both reminded that our relationship is anchored to a supernatural being who knows how to manage our life best.

Add to that, we just celebrated our anniversary last October. (",)

    I learned na ang love pala talaga is everywhere. You don't have to give your life to find love kasi you always have it. And there is always the right time para ibigay natin yung sarili natin ng buong buo sa taong alam natin binuo tayo.

    Purity is really important and your testimony is a big encouragement to us:)...there is one thing that I hope you guys also reach our beloved young people, that this team of True Love Waits will also go to the Barangays (Out of School Youth) so they can also know the value of purity nowadays sex is also rampant in squatter areas:( but i think they don't have a budget for this kind of seminar..continue to be a blessing as you share your life testimony to others..

    hi kuya franco, im no longer a student now, but i was once a student leader of a campus ministry in our school and an advocate of true love waits (though i havent had atended any conference or seminar) especially to the students i had been discipling... i was able to attend the unashamed conference in butuan city thru an invitation of a friend... im so blessed, really... thank you very much... all my life i thought i knew evrything about love and relationships.. but i am absolutely wrong. as i evaluate my past relationships and my relationship now, i realized that i am still immature and is not ready for a "commitment" yet... nakakatawa nga ehhh.... ngayon ko pa na realize na 23 na ako...You really are a blessing...ngayon firm na talaga ang decision ko to break up with my boyfriend....I'll be praying for the ministry, thank you once again!!!! May the Lord Almighty bless you more!!!!

    alam mo poh i really admire your group kasi poh nakakatuwang isipin na there are still people who are really concerned our youth today...pero po tanung ko lang is it ok to have commitment to someone as long as both of you are pure.?na as long as na walang mangyaring masama nor ginagawa nang iba...kasi po sa maniwala't kayo't sa hindi hanggang holding hands lang po talaga kami...kaya ko po nasabi na iba talaga ang pagsasamahan namin..he is my 1st boyfriend..kasi po i admit that i have a boyfriend pero i was amased that he is deffirent from other boys na iba ang hinahanap o gusto sa babae...

    I believe that it is best to have a boyfriend if you are ready to get married. Considering things lalo na ang spiritual growth nyo ay crucial on how your relationship will work.

    Tho if you both are in a relationship and pursuing marriage then you guys need to be accountable to a married couple who understands the struggles that you have and they can guard you and check on you.

    "Last year po nainvolve ako sa isang friendship. I can feel the love, care, protection, understanding skanya. He is also a christian pero hindi rin nagtagal un, nagkaroon kami ng problem sa isang taong pareho naming ayaw masaktan(bata po un) pareho cguro kaming nagdecide na mag-let go. nung na mahirap po wala namang rason para hindi na kami magpansinan pero we never talk the way we talk before. unti-unti ko din namang naaccpet un. ngayon pagnagkikita kami para sa akin normal nalang. hindi na kagaya nung dati though I cared for him because He's still my friend pero kontento na ko sa kung ano ang meron sa akin ngayon.
    God is more that enough. He covered everything, He made me fall in love with Him.     I am hazel from trento Agusan Del sur. I haven't met you yet but then i am blessed sa life God has trusted you. meron po IVCF sa Skul namin (ASSCAT). I have my bf now but I felt and decerned that it ws not the will of God because I'd noticed that I am not ready for a commitment. we Broke up last week but nagbalikan rin kami after 2 weeks. Now I don't know where to start again at paanu makipaghiwalay sa kanya..
