wala pa ako sa 3nd sentence ng letter and my tears are already over flowing. i had goosebumps reading and rereading the letter… it touched my mind, my heart, my soul… i did cry over some articles but this one just made a huge impact i barely breathe reading… He is right. i ought to seek Him first more than anything or anyone for that matter. i must surrender fully myself to Him before surrendering myself to that someone… maybe that’s why that someone hasnt come my way yet… im not ready for a commitment. i wasnt yet mold just like the way He planned. and maybe because that’s why all my relationships ended abruptly without any closures… im always left alone, hanging, without any answers nor reasons to ponder on.. sad and painful as it may be, but i have to move on. even if all the grudges and questions are agonizingly glued to my being… He made me realize i must let go all of these excess baggages i carry everyday… and from there, He will create the path meant for me and for that someone soon to come… in His time. yes, i have to patiently wait even if i have nothing left to wait for..

i first encounter this true love waits in my community. im pretty sure a lot of the contributers are also sfcs.

Aww. this is nice.
What a coincidence.. hmm but on second thought I believe God really wants me to read this post, this is his answer to my question. You see, today I wrote on my journal a letter for God. I told him that I’m already surrendering and giving him my whole life. I want him to take over. I’d like him to take the wheel.
I got so tired fighting with life that I decided to let him be the captain of my ship. I lifted up all my problems and worries, one of them is my confusion with romantic relationships. I did ask for a sign, and really God is good he gave me the sign just a few hours after I wrote the letter.

ako p lng ata ang guy n magcocomment dito. I’m 20 yrs old single and very confused about love lyf. yup! i have a girlfriend but I think that is not serious rel. in short, wala p kong naging serious rel. in my past. maybe because I don’t know myself. in my work, lagi nila akong tinutukso sa isang katrabaho nmin. she is cute, nice and we are friends, actually I have a crush on her but hanggang dun lang. they keep on telling me, “kau nb?” “ang hina mo nmn sa babae” and “bakla k ata eh” i just smile on them but deep inside, I was hurt.
I know this is not the time for that but how can I handle that situation?

i read this passage from the Lord 2years ago…August 24,2005,….God gave me a copy of that…that day i gave my life to my father and my savior Jesus Christ,…and believe it or not,..that day,..he confirmed top me his revelation to me through dreams and his word the person i will be with for the rest of my life for his GLORY alone….
that day he said…Delight in me my child and i will give the desires of heart…more than you could imagine…
today….its been two years we’ve been praying for each other….
he is not my boyfriend..he is a good and true friend…
And i know in his own Perfect time…God will able to open his gift for me 2 years ago..
waiting is not a waste of time but an opportunity to let GOD work mightily in an individuals life….

oh-so-true! God knows what is best for us we just have to wait for the right time to come…though it sounds cliche eh yun ang totoo! in our barkada ako lang ang walang boyfriend as in NBSB. At the age of 17 hindi ko hinahayaan na maovercome ako ng feelings and emotions ko, EASIER SAID THAN DONE! hindi naman kasi maaalis sakin na magtaka or magtanong ng “bakit kaya hindi ko pa siya nakikilala?” “when is he going to enter my so-called LIFE?”. I believe its normal to ask those questions lalo na kung ang environment mo eh puro lovers but I just realize na everything has a purpose. It’s difficult din naman to jump into a relationship na hindi ka sigurado, yung tipong puno ng uncertainty. It is still best to consult God, after all He knows what can makes us happy.Ngayon I am enjoying myself, aral ng mabuti, pagpatuloy ang strong relationship ko with God,friends,and family…in short knowing my PRIORITIES. I believe na kapag matatag na ang relationship ko with God at nakikita na niya na I’m responsible enough with my actions ibibigay rin niya yun. I trust HIM! He will never fail me=)

Recently, God has worked in my life and has brought me back into His flock. I realized that I did not backslide, I just never had a personal relationship with God. I realize too that I can never make a relationship with someone work if my personal relationship with God is a mess. Given the right partner by God is truly a blessing but being single is also a blessing from God too. The question to ask is not “I’ve been waiting a long time, why am I still single, Lord?”, “Why does everyone I know happily married, Lord and I’m not?” but “How can I best serve you, Lord?” God knows the answer to that question and if we ask Him that, He will guide us in the way where we can be of most use to Him whether married or single.
