I Kissed WAITING Goodbye!
March 18, 2009 Wednesday at 12:56pm •YES! You read the title correctly. I’ve decided that I’m through with waiting. That I would stop this period of nothingness and start pursuing. No more and I say it again no more. Waiting causes so much trouble for me, so much heartache and fear. It’s time I remove this things from me instead I will start to pursue. Yes I will start to pursue.
YES I WILL START PURSUING!
I will pursue to improve my character that the one created for me would not have to suffer my ill attitude, bad temper, sharp tongue, and fits of range.
YES I WILL START PURSUING!
I will pursue my dreams and ambitions that the one created for me might share in all my accomplishment and she would carry my name with a smile on her face.
YES I WILL START PURSUING!
I will pursue deeper friendships with those around me that the one created for me would be surrounded by amazing people who cares for me and would eventually care for her as well.
YES I WILL START PURSUING!
I will pursue accountability that all my actions, words and even my thoughts would be kept in check. That the one created for me would not have to carry all my burden alone.
YES I WILL START PURSUING!
I will pursue to develop my self that the one created for me would not only be attracted for my character and heart but for everything about me.
YES I WILL START PURSUING!
I will pursue purity that I would be able to give the one created for me the greatest gift I could give her. (I hope she is doing the same for me)
YES I WILL START PURSUING!
I will pursue righteousness that I may be right with God and with men. That the one created for me would not have to suffer because of my wrong actions.
YES I WILL START PURSUING!
I will pursue Holiness, that I would be set apart. Holy before God. That the one created for me would see that I am different. That I am out of this world.
YES I WILL START PURSUING!
I will stop waiting, stop doing nothing! For the one created for me deserves more than just to be waited upon.
She deserves the best. I will do my best to be the best for her.
I’m through with waiting I have kissed it goodbye.

I wish that I can be like that, so that the one that was created just for me will be bless to have me.. maybe this is being impatient.. how will I meet christian guy if the option is limited? in our church no one is available.. they say that it’s wrong to go church hopping or to attend fellowship if your reason is to meet someone with the same faith.. I don’t want to make mistakes.. help.. God bless!

Thanks for being open to your situation right now.
Concerning your question, to find the right person God has for us has been a common dilemma if we see things the way we want it.
Focusing in God will give you a clear view that more than having a futuremate, He desires you to be in an intimate relationship with Him.
Consider this: Pursuing God is the best relationship you can ever have. To have our futuremate is just a bonus. Kaya hindi issue ang scarcity ng christian guys inside the church. Probably, its our hearts that we need first to settle before Him.

Wow, thank you! I’m 29 and waiting. NBSB ako and people kept on asking me on why I never had a boyfriend or why I never married. Some are shocked that I’m still a virgin. It’s annoying at times and depressing. A few think I’m too choosy especially after I read Bo Sanchez’s How to Find Your One True Love.
I want to meet more people and also have a personal relationship with God. When I was in the call center, contact was limited and the men were really few (either they’re married or gay or extreme womanizers).
I already quit my job a few months ago. I want to meet other Christian singles but I don’t know where to start.
But it won’t be easy, especially remaining pure and also pursuing a relationship with God because of persecution (not the being stoned to death type) and discrimination.

when i was reading this section I was very blessed c0z it helps me a lot to have more patient w8ng 4 the will of GOD. well, although I’m only 16 years of age, I am starting praying 4 the right person which is the will of God.
and I was praying 4 one person whom I admire so much. What I mean is that I am giving up all to the Lord, all my plans. and I Believed that ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE THROUGH CHRIST!
I like this boy not just because of his LOOKS, but I like him c0z, I know that he’s in the right path. And I like him c0z he awe the Lord so much!
he’s a good example to all of us!
hE’s 19 yrs old now and he’s taking up Mechanical Engineering at the Lyceum Batangas.
although he’s too busy with his study, he’s always giving his 100% energy to the Lord!
He’s a leader in the young people ministry in their church.
He commit his life serving with the Lord!

Wow! I cannot believe the responses people continue to give in this simple article. I am blessed and encouraged to read comments that were inspired to also live and pursue. My hearts desire is that we would truly be able to stand up and to pursue. Its really hard and I have to say it is still a daily battle for me. let us continue to pray for each other.

I salute you man! for having a courage to wrote this and let everyone know.. Yes indeed, we need to PURSUE our godly character so we could be righteous not only in the sight of man but most important in the sight of our lord god..
Im 28yrs of age and im a certified NBSB..Ü sometimes i used to think and asked god why until now i dont have a bf or get into a romantic relationship like my other friends do. A lot of people (officem8, friends, relatives, even churchm8!) kept on asking why im still single. Sometimes its kinda pressuring but i believe that my lord god has something in stored for me. I have faith that in his perfect time, Hes going to reveal whos the best for me..
So for the young pipz out there keep pursuing the cleanliness and holiness of our mind, body and soul. That in gods due time hes going to reward you whats best for you..Ü
